ALGO es ALGO. It’s better than NOTHING. Its beter dan nazing ɪts ˈbɛtə ðæn ˈnʌθɪŋ
Si ves ALGO, dímelo.  If you see ANYTHING, let me know.  If iu si enizing, let mi nou   ɪf juː siː ˈɛnɪθɪŋlɛt miː nəʊ
Al  Estoy ALGO cansada. I’m SOMEWHAT tired. Aim samwuat taird   aɪm ˈsʌmwɒt ˈtaɪəd

OBSERVACIONES: “Anything” se suele utilizar en lugar de “something” en preguntas, o afirmaciones, cuando no sabemos si la respuesta será positiva o negativa. Cuando creemos que la respuesta será positiva, utilizamos “something”. Compara: Do you want ANYTHING? ¿Quieres algo? (no sé si quiere algo) Do you want SOMETHING? ¿Quieres algo? (le he visto abriendo la nevera).

  1. He disfrutado mucho tu entrada. Suelo usar “Do you want something?” aunque no sepa la respuesta de mi oyente, pero pondré más atención de ahora en adelante.
